The Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) is a High Stakes Fantasy Football event launched in 2008 by veteran fantasy football players.  Players starting a contest, you might ask?  After all, we play high stakes fantasy football leagues, we don't build brand new fantasy contests.  We're players.  Players...Hmm.  What if this new contest, developed by fantasy football players, was tailor-made for fantasy football players?  What if it included the very protection all players deserve and should now require from any contest:  Prize Pool Held in Attorney Escrow!  And it is this very concept which became the theme for our project:  build a contest that is For Players, By Players.

So, how did the first two years go?  This is what our players are saying:

- I'm astonished and grateful that I've came across a bunch of folks here on this [FFPC] message board who are just as passionate about fantasy football as I am, and who are loyal enough to the game to see that things are done the right way with honesty and integrity...... I'm glad to have finally found a place that I will consider my fantasy home for the next few years. - Aaron Statts / statts70

- Just want you guys to know that I WILL be returning for 2009.  I'm saying this because I have enjoyed this league more than any other (by far)....The FFPC has been discussed many times and its simply the best (IMO).  Thanks for putting this league together and I wish you both success in the future. - Daryl P. Hope / Turbough

- I love it. LOVE the dual flex.  I like the 1.5 per TE rec. as well.  The FFPC has stood solid vs. any critiques this season.  Watch the copycats start debating to morph this direction. ~Lance Turbes / Sportsbettingman

- As a high stakes fantasy football player, I truly appreciate getting my winners check before the new year.  I'm not trying to disrepect any other high stakes fantasy football leagues, but this is one of many reasons why I joined the FFPC.  I really feel like I've a voice and it's a players league. - Wayne Ferguson / Big Ferg

- As a  fantasy addict, I am finding the FFPC offerings are like crack.  Nice Work. - Darren Armani / FantasyMojo

- Congrats on what looks to be furthered success.  Thank God, I hope to never have to play in another league again.  Thanks once again for putting on the single greatest fantasy platform there is! - Joe McCrossin / Dirt Nap

FFPC '10: Where The Players Play!

The FFPC Main Event offers a unique hybrid draft format, combining two live Las Vegas high stakes fantasy football drafts with two online draft times to create the Fantasy Football Players Championship.  This allows fantasy football players to draft from anywhere in the world and still compete with Live drafters in the same main event.  The 2010 FFPC Live draft will be held at the legendary Caesars Palace in the grand Augustus Ballroom, on the Las Vegas Strip on Friday September 10th and Saturday September 11th, 2010.  Online entrants can draft from anywhere they have computer access and pay the base entry fee of $1450 per team.  Two Online draft times are available;  Friday September 10th at 9:00 PM Eastern and Saturday September 11th at 7:00 PM Eastern.

The 2010 FFPC Main Event is being announced at 288 teams (24 Leagues) and offers a $100,000 Grand Prize while each league will also compete for a minimum of $8,500 in individual league prizes.  The entire prize pool is guaranteed and prizes will increase as entries reach 300 teams or beyond.  Once again, the FFPC has no co-manager fees for 2010 and there is no hotel stay requirement.  The event offers player-friendly rules, including the FFPC Dual-Flex, extended waiver wire period into the League Playoffs, automatic Elias stat corrections and much more.  The playoff structure allows for 4 playoff teams into the League Playoffs and give them a shot at the prizes.  The FFPC is continuing with our exclusive Free-peat™ Bonuses - a system which awards team achievement with free entries.  The FFPC is the only fantasy contest with a 100% protected prize pool.  For the ultimate in player safety, the entire Main Event prize pool is secured in an attorney escrow account for the entire season.  The attorney escrow is provided free of charge to our players, because nothing is more important that the knowledge that winners will get paid and get paid quickly.  The event organizers do not access player prize money until prize checks are to be mailed to winners.  Our guaranteed prize release date is January 10, 2011.  The FFPC issued the fastest payouts in the industry at the conclusion of the 2008 and 2009 seasons, with league prize checks being received by our Players well before the football regular season ended.  League prizes will again be released in December of 2010.  Last but certainly not least, FFPC payout percentages will be among the highest in the high stakes industry.  That’s our promise to all of our Players.
